December's "Wasted" Money

Okay........so I wasted a little bit in Dec. ....but not bad.

I finally found the slippers that I wear in the summer and BOUGHT THREE PAIRS..............not exactly a need and I am the only person I know that STOCKPILES SLIPPERS!!!

(but I did the same with bras...........bought three when I FINALLY FOUND THEM ONLINE....but TRUST ME...........this is a NEED not a want........hate wearing the damn things!!)

No wasted money today. We went out shopping, but most of the stores we wanted to go to were closed!

Weird. they must not be doing too well this Christmas season.

Thinking about buying some Vittle Vaults to store my dog and cat food in. Not sure if I can classify that as a need, but it does keep the food fresh longer AND classes up my kitchen a little, if I don't have bags of pet food sitting on the floor!

Wish there was a way to hang my head in shame because I have totally fallen off the wagon and went out to the Mall btw I never go there but I needed new sneakers and it was the death of me. Got the sneakers and should have gone home but the sales were like sirens calling me to the rocks. I spent 124.00 I got alot but really didnt NEED anything but the sneakers . So all I can do is try again but I have to say I did get some awesome deals Happy Wednesday everyone

Doing pretty good. Ran out to the grocery store yesterday, but stuck to my list. Today, was going to go on a shopping trip, but decided to stay home. Saves at least 2 meals out and anything I would have bought.

No wasted money today. But I will have to buy a digital thermometer. We don't have one and I've been ordered to take my temperature for a week to see if I have a low grade thyroid problem.

No money spent today, but I did throw out a little cheesecake left from the holdiays. It was going to be waste or waist! so I think that was the better choice. Haha

I am currently aware that I could do better with not wasting food. I al going to really focus on this in the coming year.

Stopped myself from buying a blouse that was 70% off and looked great on me! I didn't need it. DH was miffed because I asked him if he thought I should buy it. He says he feels uncomfortable when I do that. I know the budget as well as he does. Well I don't. The budget seems to change with every whim he and I have. So it's hard to know what we can afford when.

That led to a general discussion about the budget and rearranging it so I wouldn't have to ask him if we had the money. Ie. putting money for clothing and personal care in our allowances instead of pulling from a joint jar for them.

That led to the budget in general. We spent a couple hours on it and just didn't get anywhere. We're going to bed and hoping fresh heads will do better tomorrow.
