Happy to report
We are officially under the $20,000 mark left on debt. I am so thrilled to be able to update my soggy. Lol! Also one of our last debts changed our apr by a drastic amount which will help out so much too. Last but not least summer is pretty much over here in pittsburgh or at least for our ac. I really thought that the air conditioner was going to break this year since it's so old and it made it thru too. Now I will be able to have enough in a fund to just buy a new one next year. Anyone know when the best time to buy one is?

Way to go. We are going to need a new central air unit soon too and we just keep hoping that it will make it a little longer.

Check Consumer Reports or Good Housekeeping for the best time to buy. However, if you pay cash, anytime is a good time to buy. What you DON'T pay in interest will make the purchase more economical even if you don't get a fantastic deal.

BTW: when I first read the post I though you wrote $20 and I was thinking I'd definitely rob Peter to pay Paul to get rid of that final $20 of debt
