Homes are flying off the market!!

Our agent just called us and said that the condo that was listed this morning that she thought we would be interested in is now gone!! I can't believe how quickly the homes are going!! Is it like this in your area too? This makes me really nervous!!

our neighborhood is like that I could list my house today at $180,000 and by the end of the weekend it would be sold...
(note we paid $90,000 just 5 years ago for this house) so in 5 years it doubled in value and none of the house here in this neighborhood stay on the market for more than a week...

I often look at homes online and in the guides and I have noticed they have increased the cost of homes because the interest rate is so low. Homes are being bought quickly here too.

Here too. A realtor told me that because of the low interest rates it is sellers market.

Same here, we actually have people knock at our door and ask iff we would like to sell. Thats a good feeling

Homes are selling well here, but I wouldn't say they are flying off the market. New home sales are doing much better than resales.

This afternoon the first house she took us to would be exactly everything we would want...good school district, right across from the beach, below what we want to pay, nice layout, you name it - it's what we want. But it's the first house we have gone too so we are nervous to put a contract on it. We are meeting her tomorrow at 10am to look at more. I'm just saying prayers that God will lead us to the right place. If we are meant to be in the one we saw today then we will get it. It's just so much stuff to know!!!! Wish us luck and please keep us in your thoughts...it's exciting and it makes us nervous at the same time!!

It's a very nerve wracking time alright, but just keep looking and praying...the right house/deal will come to you!
Yes, homes sell really fast in our area too.....

I THINK we are going to put an offer on the first home we have looked at. We saw several others and that one is the one that just feels right to us. I've done a lot of praying about this and I know that if God wants us to have this home then that is the plan.

I'll let you know later how it goes.

Daphne, I am so excited for you! Please let us know! They say when you see the perfect house, you just feel it...sounds like you feel it...and to have it be the first house...that's sounds like God is looking out for you!
