Update on home buying

I won't go into many details right now but I promise to later. It's not looking like we are going to get the home we have wanted so today my agent and I are going out again to look. It's not been fun!!

Please keep me and Malcom in your thoughts and prayers. I know I've asked that so many times and we really appreicate it so much. I've got to go and get ready to look - AGAIN!!!!! I will tell you later what is going on.

I know that God has the perfect home out there for you and Malcom.

Be patient (I know easier said than done). DH and I looked for 3 years before God gave us the perfect home for way less than market value!

Well, I just returned from more house hunting with my agent. I saw some cute houses but nothing has "knocked my socks off" yet.

I'll try to make this long story a short one....we have a ratified contract with a FSBO. Well our appraisal came in under what we put the offer in for but we had a feeling about that. The seller understood that we needed a VA appraisal and said they would work with us as far as what VA said and also paying our agents commission. Well for the last 5 days he's not called our agent, hasn't picked up the comps that my agent put together for him and has been showing the property to others. Since he isn't an agent he can do this. Well, today he finally called and said that the other showings that he has done have not gone well and he is going to talk to his other partner this afternoon. If this isn't crazy then I don't know what is!!!! We have less than 2 weeks before we are supposed to close so that is why I've been a little on edge about this. But since we aren't sure if this seller is going to accept what VA says the value of the house is we are looking for other properties.

I hope this made sense...I tried to give a short summary of what has been going on and it's been a lot!!!

) know that it's all in God's hands and what is meant to be will be. But it's still hard sometimes!! Thanks again ladies...ya'll are the best!
