Having just moved back to the states after living in the UK for eight years, I was totally amazed at all the new products when I went grocery shopping! To say that I was a bit "overwhelmed," would not be overstating it. There are so many choices, it is almost too hard to choose! I am trying hard to pay close attention to the money that we are spending, although I must admit to going a little overboard on our first shop! Now, however, reality has kicked in, and it's time to get serious once again about the budget. There are so many different things here, compared to what I am used to- I am going to have to be really tough, or otherwise I can see that I might just end up spending way too much on my grocery budget, just because I am nosy about all the new stuff I see!

I know the feeling. I grew up in Hawaii as a child and things were very limited there since we had to ship everything in. When I moved to the mainland I went a bit nuts...so many choices!
It's amazing, all the new products that come out~~working in the food industry, I keep thinking, how much more can they come out with--I just heard of 20 new items coming out from a cereal company--like we don't have enough choices!
I can relate to that, I think if I was still spending time in the US I would be having a much harder time trying to lose weight than I am now here in England.
