    Default Paid off My Car!

    Received federal taxes today and paid off my car!!! Oh Ya! Put $838.71 in my EF. Paid off $150 in bills that are due this month. Debt free except my mortgage. Going to put 1/2 of the money I used to pay on my car in the EF and the other 1/2 on my mortgage. This is such a great feeling.
    No spend challenge: 10/30

    No eat out challenge: 0/31

    frugal challenges

    2012 reading challenge: 4/12

    April coups: $10

    EF: $736.00

    2nd EF: $7000:lemon

    Waste no more food challenge

    NO DEBT except MORTGAGE! $9950.54

    Great to see your snowballing the money that you did use for the car payment by putting 1/2 towards your emergency fund & 1/2 towards your mortgage. With your mortgage is it ok that you pre pay on principal? You keep doing this you're gonna be paying that mortgage off early, saving yourself thousands of dollars.Woohoo!
