    Talking Paid off two cards!!

After posting about how I could never pay any of our debt off, I took many ladies' great advice and started small. To my shock, this month we paid off two small credit cards thanks to an unexpectedly repaid debt from dgrandad! And now we can take the minimums from those and put them on the next smallest!

Thank you all so much -- I was really, really discouraged but I can honestly say I am paying our debt off! I am sleeping better and buying groceries with cash, not credit! It feels GREAT!

Way to go, Marcella. Lisa and I got debt free earlier this year; yes, we eat out less, and now I get my books from the library, but the sense of freedom and accomplishment is worth more than anything I've ever bought on a cc. You're young and if you stay with it, can get there far sooner in life than we did. Way to go!

WTG Marcella! It feels great to be in control of it (the debt monster) rather than it controlling you doesn't it? You stay after it and you'll be amazed at how fast that snowball grows and how quickly you push that monster out of your life.
