Question Is there one area you'd really like to change in your home?

For us, it would have to be the kitchen. If I had the finances, I'd love to completely redesign and remodel our kitchen.

Too many areas to pick. I'd say kitchen and bathrooms first though. That would be great.

    Yes my Conservatory!

They are a pain in the pipe Ours is South facing so it is like an oven in the Summer ( even though I have Air Con unit in there) and in Winter it is like a second fridge

It is only used at Christmas, when we crank up the heat and open presents in there, our Dog Suzy, likes to open her own presents and does tend to make a mess, bless her

I would LOVE an American style Porch with a couple of comfortable seats and a little table for my Cups of tea ..............

Dream on Karen (I must stop talking to myself!!!!!!)

yes, I would like to change my house . . .oh you meant a ROOM in my house lol. we are remodeling our entire house top to bottom so I have done 4 rooms (kitchen, living room, second bedroom, computer room) in the past 2 years. We just got new carpet this month and it is so beautiful!!!! My next challenge is the bathroom since it is so gross, but that takes some serious money . . . have to wait another year.

Yep, my living room is next in line and then comes the kitchen and then the office. I can't wait to be finished!

Well, new carpet and paint all over, but what I would really like is to make a screened porch or sunroom where our deck is. It faces South and is vritually unusable except for a couple of weeks in the spring and fall - too hot - and our trees aren't big enough to provide shade.

I'd really love one of those All weather sunrooms and use it as a family room.

I would have to pick my bedroom!!
It certainly isn't big enough. My bed takes up almost the whole room. I don't like the carpet, which was here when we moved in.

I would like to add another bedroom. We have an empty "atic" type space that would make a perfect bedroom if we added some windows but DH thinks it would be too much work. But I think it wouldn't be too bad since we did just remodel the WHOLE house And it would add even more value to our home.

I'd like to redo our bedroom. We got new furniture earlier this year and should have painted but didn't...now I wished we'd painted and replaced the carpet.

I'd also like to pull up the wood flooring (pergo) in the living room and have carpet down.

My master bathroom. The ceiling is falling off in little pieces, the toilet clogs consistently, the wall behind the shower has got to be completely molded out inside because it gives way when you push on it, and it's just ugly.

Oh boy, where do I start?

I have long wanted the back porch to be made bigger, then put in a ½ bath and laundry room.

Our upstairs bath is the only room we never really re-did when we bought the house and it is in desperate need of updating.

If I got those 2 things done I'd be in 7th heaven!
