How much cash do you keep on you at any one time?
I seldom have cash in my wallet anymore because I use my bank card. If I do have cash, it is usually no higher than a twenty dollar bill. Unless I'm shopping at yard sales or places where I can't use my bank card.
How about you?

I hardly ever have any cash on me either. I use my bank card for just about everything.

when you say bankcard are you talking about a direct debit card? I usually carry at least $50 because every time I use my direct debit card they charge a fee of anywhere between .25c - $1.50. The only time a fee is not charged is when you use your own bank's auto teller. I generally do my grocery shopping, pay for it with my card, and get out the amount I need for that week. I try not to use my card after that.

I have anywhere between $20-$50 on me.
Rhonda, I don't know about the other ladies, but my bank debit card charges $1 each use ONLY if I use an ATM machine. If I am using it to purchase in a store, no charge. Go figure???~~ Dee ~~

I usually carry no more than $5. I use my debit card for everything, it's free to use, unless I withdraw money from a 'foreign' ATM. I also do things the old fashioned way- I write checks

I don't do cash. I buy groceries once a week by check. My husband carries cash with him and uses quite a bit per week.

I like to have $20 in a 'secret pocket' in my wallet -- that way, if I find an unbeatable deal, I have some cash.
(Ever been to a yard sale where they have good prices and high-quality? And you only have $5 on you?)
But I keep around $40-60 in the main compartment of my wallet. [I don't carry a checkbook.] And there have been a number of times I've had to suddenly hit my wallet -- or suffer inconvenience! I usually don't have any money on me. Maybe just a dollar or some change. I use my debit card for everything. If I do need cash for something I go to the atm machine at my bank. Then I am not charged anything.

I usually have less than $5 if any cash. I use my debit card for everything I'm able to because I find it easier to keep track of spending on my budget. I tend to go through cash very quickly if I have it on me.

I rarely have cash on me either. I use my debit card most of the time and to tell you the truth, my money doesn't last very long anyways, either in my pocket or in my bank. Ugh.

I might have $10 with me unless I know I am going to need more. If I carry alot with me I end up blowing it no matter how hard I try not to.

I pull out $75 per week and that's my money. I don't use my debit or credit card - or write checks. I also use cash for my grocery money but that's in a different place other than my wallet. This helps me to save since I can go "oh, I only have $10 left, it's monday, and I still need gas in my car" instead of using a debit card where I would go oh, sure, I'll fill up my car and buy a pop and sure why not some lottery tickets and . . . Most people I know do only use debit cards since they say it does help them save, but I just can't do that.
This week my $75 went to:
$25 - gas in my car
$10 - eyebrows waxed
$20 - Friends wedding shower
$10 - landscaping class
$10 - me if I want a pop or lunch one day.
You can see if I used a debit card it would be harder to keep track of my left over money exactly - now I look in my wallet and see $10 and know that's it till Friday.

I usually use my debit card, it's free. If I need cash, I use the card at my bank so I don't get charged an extra fee. I might have $20-40.00 in my wallet at times, but my hubby usually snatches that up!
