Default Where do you get cheap checks? I'm due to reorder....

... and the reorder fee for these places is much higher than their first-timer deals.

Wow, that's cool. I've had checking accounts with 4 different banks over the years, and checks have never been free with any of them.

I keep switching companies to get the lowest cost. I save the Sunday circulars (where the coupons are located) to find new companies and when its time to re-order I use a competing one.

I got a invitation offer in the mail says FREE CHECKS & $50 or $75(the $ amount keeps changing) for opening an account. I usually stop @ this bank ATM since it's FREE & my CU doesn't charge me a fee either. It's close-by the mall & in my travel path while out

CHASE also sends me these types of offers but w/Direct Deposit I have no way of doing this especially for 6 months & DH likes getting his paycheck & having me cash/deposit it. We had our mortgage @ CHASE & I'd always go to the drive-thru w/the girlz & the teller would give out cookies to them & Holiday time send us a really nice pocket datebook

I get mine FREE from the Credit Union (BFCU) but if I want the fancy type I gotta buy those.

They're the 2-part ones I can order online from LIBERTY reorder.libertysite.com

    http://reorder.libertysite.com/

I don't usually run outta checks since I use my VISA check card instead of writing checks @ stores, etc.

BFCU paid me .10 for each Visa transaction up to $1.00 limit for the month.

Most of my bills I pay online

I keep my checkbook in my purse so when I go to the CU I have my account info. & mostly for Dr.'s appointment co-pays I have to write checks.

Somehow I misplace some of these checkbooks when I change purses. I'll keep the used up book in my purse, forgot I wrote the last check & then go home looking for another book, sometimes then I'll need to re-order. They get sent out in a few days. If I need some in an EMERGENCY they will print them up @ the CU w/o charging a fee!

They changed the color from grey & maroon to grey & blue & a new design logo a few years ago. Banking among friends.

I luv these GARFIELD checks when I had another account @ another bank the 1st set of checks were FREE but then re-orders you had to buy unless you had $$$$$$$ many in an account to waive this fee. So I ordered mine on my own much cheaper prices than the banks. Got one of those Valpack ads & @ the website I ordered them!

    I've always really liked:

I have found them to be the cheapest in the past and great quality checks.

I have used checks in the mail and checks unlimited in the past. I rarely use checks so I only order every few years.

I waited for Sunday's fliers and got the first time customer offers for both my accounts. I wasn't loyal, I just went with who had the advertisment the week I needed to order and ordered the picture I liked the best.
