I did it!!!
I finally paid off all of my CC's!! I am so happy!! It took me 4 years but I finally did it!!! Next is to pay off the car!! I have gotten so much support from ya'll, even though I don't post that often I still read the board everyday and just reading how all of you are doing is a great help.

Total for all of them was a bit over $20,000. I ended up going through one of those debt counseling services after my divorce, I guess that would be cheating but.., they got my service charges down and set up a plan for me. I just sent in the regular payment and anything else I could. No going out to eat when the kids were younger and, they had to do without alot of the "things" that other kids had but they grew up great and I have no complaints at all about them, well not many
It's been a long grind and because of it I've learned that I can do without alot of things. I pay cash for everything or do without, I have no CC's at all and will not get any. I don't eat out, unless one of the kids drags me out and they pay, no fast food, I hate to shop so not buying new clothes isn't hard for me infact I had to force myself to get a couple of new outfits for work, do my own nails and wear my hair long so only have to get it done once in a blue moon, don't go to the movies and very seldom rent DVD's, I don't have cable or anything else, I'll watch regular channels if I watch TV at all. Since it's just me now not spending much isn't hard, well except for books, my garden, and on my animals. Good thing I'm a homebody.
Thank you for your congratulations!!
