I retire April 1, 2006!
Just 59 more working days.
I'll be drawing half my salary so that will be a challenge. I'll have the cc paid off so our only debt is DH's car.
What will be most difficult it continuing to pay cash for DS's college tuition and expenses. He has two years left.
If I need to I can start a second career as a librarian (got my masters degree in it a couple of years ago). I at least want to take a few months off though for some R&R and some house projects.
Excited but a little nervous!
Debbie

Congratulations on your retirement.
Retirement is wonderful. If you want, you can pick and choose where you might work (totally your choice), you have time to work on your hobbies, you can spoil the grandchildren (if you have any), you can travel - that's the fun part of it.
Enjoy it!!

How exciting! You can get that card paid off, and with a good budget I'm sure you'll work out the whole tuition thing! Good luck!
