Angry My property taxes and house insuranced increased by $30 a month

I just got my mortgage statement for the year.  My mortgage rate is locked in for 7 years, but my monthly payment is going up $30.  Yuck!  Why?  Well, my house insurance increased last year by $150, and my tax bill increased by $1000.  So, the bank is going to start collecting an additional $30 starting with the February payment.  I pay my insurance and taxes with my mortgage monthly.  Once a year, I get an updated house insurance statement. Hopefully, my FICO score increases and my house insurance will be lower.  So, now I need to find $30 in my monthly budget.

I am sorry to hear of the increases. That really stinks. I hope that your insurance decreases though.

Sorry for the added expense, seems it's everywhere.

And that is only the tax that we pay in January- it went up $600 this year, and will go up even more next year since the tax assessor is the same guy who is the appraiser for our bank. Grrrrr....

I can definitely feel for you.
