Do you plan on moving within the next 5 years?
We are looking at a major move, in fact to another province once our van is paid off.

Moving yes, but only a few hundred yards or so
. My husband and I were both born in NC, I right here in Franklin, he was born down state. but both his parents were from here and he has lived here since he was about 2. I do not see us moving out of the town, little along out of state.

No way!
As long as I can make payments on my mortgage I will stay in this house.
They will carry me out of this house in a box - when I saw it first I knew it was where I would retire....

No, probably not, but if the cir cumstances were right,we would, Having to worry about regular floods was bad enough, now having to worry about that stinkin' NYC water reservoir (the Gilboa Dam) is just too annoying, and because of it, we just had to get flood insurance for $900 a year that will only pay the balance of our mortgage and nothing more.

no. I have moved every 5 years since being married, about every 18 months when growing up and I'm now in my 6th year in this house and just loving it.

Only if I'm widowed.
How's that for morbid?
Otherwise, we'll probably stay here until dh retires (in 19 years).
Frankly, I HATE HATE HATE the dark rainy winters.

I would love to but we aren't going to!!! Dh is hoping to retire when he turns 57 which is in 11 years and I don't want to take on a new mortgage or any new debt. We are going to make sure we are totally debt free and have money put away so when he does retire we can sell this house and take everything and move to our "dream home"

We may be moving to the country to a mini-homestead. Hoping to find one really cheap.

Not in 5, but in 7 yes!
Dh and I are wanting to buy some land, with cash, and start a little homestead. This has been our dream since we got married almost 10 yrs ago. We are just now buckling down and starting any kind of a savings, but by the time we are 35, our goal is to own some land.(With a house of course...lol)

No, probably not for at least 5 years or until we grow out of this house. It's a good location and after moving 4 times in 5 years, I think we'll stay here for a bit.
