Question When you took your mortgage out for your home, how long was it for

We don't have a mortgage on our home so I can't answer this question. Just curious how long your mortgage was for?

Originally a 30yr. But after 5.5yrs, we refinanced to a 20yr, so total 25.5yrs if we don't pay off early.

30 years. We've got 29 left but it'll hopefully be done way before that.

We started with a 30 yr loan, but when the rates went down we refinanced into a 15 yr loan. We will be done before that, but I haven't figured up how much yet.

In 1993 we started out with a 15 year mortgage. Ran into financial trouble and had to refinance. Had to go 30 years. Refinanced at least 3 times in the last few years; so we're still at 30. We'll probably die and leave it for our kids to pay off. No light at the end of the tunnel!
