Debt going down!
Sold the rv! Yes! Load off my mind. A sweet older couple bought it, she was really tickled. It didn't bring what I needed so I've had to use my snowball money for pretty much the whole month to settle this debt, but it's worth it. This will give me $400 more a month to pay down debt.
So anyway, the total debt since September '05 was around the $50,000 mark (not including the mortgage). As of today the mark is $29,000! Yay. That's 21k in 5 months! The sale of the rv and a large bonus accounted for $16,000 of it, the rest we've done all on our own, $5000 worth. Averaging about a grand down on debt per month. Not bad, not bad at all.
Next month we're really gonna have the ball rolling on our car loan, and hopefully kick it out in 5 months. After that is the last debt, the student loan.
Keep working the plan, the plan works.
Bring on them baby steps...
Step 1: done
Step 2: waiting on amount, hubby had followup colonoscopy, I had visit to ER with followup procedure
Step 3: to follow, won't know aim until things settle
Step 4: to follow, currently at 6%
Step 5: grown child
Step 6: huge mortgage ANNIHILATED!!
Step 7: ahhhh....
