I feel very fortunate
During the past month or so it is amazing how many friends and family members said in conversation how much they were struggling financially and how they either re-financed their house to consolidate all their bills or took out a HELOC to pay their bills off. I feel for them I really do, it could have easily been us as we were on the same road but..........
I am very fortunate to have found this site to learn how to live below my means, how to save for a rainy day and how to say no to myself when I want to purchase something that isnt a necessity. I am also very fortunate to have paid off all of my debt besides my car loan. Yes at times there is no money for anything extra but I feel blessed!

My husband and I have made some unwise financial decisions in the past. Since finding this site and discovering Dave Ramsey, plus life experience, we'll not make those mistakes again. We are both 30 and things are looking up for us financially. We have sold our big truck with the $565 monthly payment, and hubby bought an older model truck and paid cash. We have our house up for sale and have just bought ourselves 27 acres and paid $6000 down (inheritance from my Grandpa), so we only owe $15000 on it. We still have a long way to go, but we are learning and making better decisions. I wish I knew then what I know now!! I feel blessed too for this site and all the advice that is given! Thank you!

I was just thinking these thoughts today!
We may have some debt and 2 mortgages, but they are manageable, and we are in control. I am so grateful we never had to consolitdate bills, and also for our wiser financial decisions.
Sure, we would be better off with only one mortgage, and we have thought of selling the 2nd home, however, we are current on all bills, and are still living comertbaly. We just had to tighten up our spending habits to not dip into the savings or credit cards!
Thank you Frugal Village!!
