until my student loan is out of default and they will take away 4,000 of my bill! yippee

Could you explain this? Did you ask them to lower what you owed? I also don't understand why it takes 6 more months to get out of default. How does that work?

i have to make 12 months of consecutive payments and they take away all the late fees and other fees. they contacted me, but i have been out of college 16 years. ( not real proud of that fact)
