    Our homeowners carrier pulled out of the state in Sept. of last year. Luck for us the underwriter picked us up. Since we aren't near the water our policy only went up $850.00 a year. We're also glad we didn't have to go to the state pool.
    But DH and I have decided if it continues to go up we'll think hard about moving to south Texas.
