Van Is Paid Off!!!
Well, the mailman just collected the mail and with it took my final payment for my van loan. It's done!!!
How did we do it? We paid extra principal with each payment. As much as we could afford at the time. Then, knowing that summer was coming and money would be tighter for the next few months, rather than worry about squandering what we did have (I'm a teacher...no pay in the summer) I called in for the payoff amount today and used what we had to pay it off. Now we're clear on that debt!
Now the only car loan we have is dh's car loan. We plan on paying that off early as well. Phewf...what a great feeling! My Blog: http://amysreallife.wordpress.com

That is awesome news. Congratulations. We just paid off a small loan. It does feel great to get rid of payments. We're working on our minivan loan now.
