Default Back from vacation...and the dryer dies!

Ahhhhh...nothing like a dose of reality!

So I was trying to talk dh into NOT getting a dryer that matched our new washer we had to buy last year. We're talking like a $300 diff! So waited it out a few days and he comes up with the BRILLIANT idea....that they don't have to match. I told him what a brainstorm! We managed to buy one for just under $300 and I've never been so happy as to be doing laundry. I tell ya few days without and the laundry starts to pile can really put stress on you!

Even if they don't match, getting new appliances is always exciting. Enjoy your new dryer!

I agree with Jamie, as long as they work, who cares!! Seems that Murphy always tries to spoil a good time and brings us back to reality. Enjoy the new dryer.

Good for you both for going with the more practical option. We are lucky in that we have a "scratch and dent" appliance store within 2 hours of us. That's where we got our washer/dryer set. Sooo much cheaper than buying from a regular store.
