Enjoyed that article. Really do need to just start saving, not feel bad about doing without to make it happen. Don't need the latest & greatest, having older things is retro & cool as is saving money.

"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around." ~Leo Buscaglia
I liked the article. I follow Suze Orman and I saw her show a week or so ago when she talked about working as a waitress until she was almost my age now. I think she is ambitious and has "been there done that." She wasn't always financially wealthy, it gives me hope. I started to watch her Saturday show almost 4 years ago, when I began to reign in my cc use and downsized my living above my means. Next step funding my ef, and putting aside money for retirement .

Very interesting article, I agree that we need to just keep saving and not think about it, just because everyone else has one of these or those doesnt mean we need to have it too. Thanks for sharing!
