Good for you! I've been shoopping around and switching insurance companies for a couple of years now, trying to get the best deal. We had State Farm for years and were paying thru the nose. Last year I switched to Geico and saved a ton. This year before our insurance was due to expire I once again started getting quotes from other companies. I ended up switching again....this time to AIG. We are now saving an additional $150 a year. It pays to shop around

Weve been with state farm together (5 years) and DH since he was 16 (another 5 years). We shop around every 6 months and can never find anything cheaper. Our rates actually just went up 10 dollars because when increased the coverage for me, and then went down 15 dollars because of DHs grades. Little bit 5 dollars a month lower but every bit helps. It is time to shop around again. But at least with State Farm their seems to be something to say for brand loyalty because they give us discounts every year for continuing to be with them.

I am so excited myself. We have both daugters on our car insurance. Well dd#1 bought her first car, all on her own, with her own insurance coverage so I can't wait for next months bill without her on it. Yippie! For both of us.

This is some thing I really need to do. Shop around for cheaper car insurance. There for a while, it was like there was a hit me sign on the back of my car. I was rear-ended 5 times in 4 years. It was crazy. It's not like I was doing anything to cause it either. Unless you call sitting a a stop sign or stop light or in rush hour traffic to causing them.

Well a couple of un-insured drivers later and wham insurance at $117 a month. I finally made it through last year (knock on wood) without having anyone hit me. Hopefully that trend will continute. I'll probably start shopping around once this year is up. Even with me not being at fault, accidents stay on your record and inflate your insurance costs. ACtually I need to check and confirm when the last accident was. I will try to work with insurance company first as I do like them. But if they can't get the cost down then I'm gonna have to go somewhere that will.
    Have a nice day. Traci
