Default Finally got dh to look at our mess..

Last Saturday dh and I sat down with all of our bills...he was ignoring the situation and I told him we had to do something...so we are now on the snowball to debt free living

First we set up a budget and then we tallied up all the debts, equity, two personal loans, and ten credit cards...total amount is 146,397.10

Dh gets a very large bonus every year and that will be going on the debt as well as the snowballing...I know we can do this because we are both on board this time..I kept trying to do it on my own and I wasn't able to..

Our ultimate goal is for dh to be able to get out of the job he is in and get a "normal" job...he is under so much pressure and his cell phone rings constantly..next job will be cell phone/beeper free

After we get these debts cleared up , we will hit the mortgage!!

    Look out debt

Good for you! I know too many people in denial and the debt keeps growing ~ way to go for recognizing it and attacking it with a great attitude!!!

thats great that you go through to him. It took me along time and still at times he falls back behind.
You know the saying: Dont stand in front of me, Don't stand behind me, just stand beside me."
Its suppose to equal 50/50. But not all relationships are.
