KABOOOOOOOM!!!!!
Sorry about that ringing in your ears.
But that horrible explosion you just heard? :surprise: That was my budget getting blown to smithereens.
and I both really needed some good new clothes. So we bit the bullet and went to some Winners (T.J. Maxx in the States) and bought outselves some new duds. I picked out his and he picked out mine. He got one pair of jeans and three t-shirts. I got two shirt jackets, two shirts and a skirt. He paid about $100 for his, I paid about $120 for mine. Waaaaaaay out of budget.
But, damn! We be smokin' now!

Your post was hilarious!!!! I am grinning still. My Dh and I will be getting some new threads in August when we have an extra pay month. Dh needs some new workpants and tennis shoes, and a new pair of jeans. I will shop Goodwill first then try to find end of the season and last years seasonal stuff cheap. We too are in desperate need of some new duds!!! Don't feel too guilty. We are going to be doing it next, so you are not alone!!
taking one day at a time, trying to get rid of debt!!

I laughed when I read the title KABOOOOOOM!! The other day there was a kaboom here and my house shook. It felt like something hit the roof. It ended up being a sonic boom because the shuttle had landed at Edwards AFB. On second thought, maybe that was you!!
I second posting some pics!!
