What program do you use for finances?
I would like a good system of being able to print out my monthly bills/expenses, be able to easily look at other month's expenses, and maybe even have bar graphs. I think Excel does all of these things, but is there another program that any of you have found you like better?
Thanks!

I use Quicken. It allows me to print our monthly finances according to catagories, such as How much did you spend on groceries for month to date, or the last 3 months, etc... It also has graphs so you can see the big picture of what you are spending your money on each month. It's easy to use, and it has helped me keep track of everything.

DH uses MSNMoney. All I know about it is he downloads all of our checking account info into, it divides everything into catagories and he gets all kinds of info on where we spend all of our money.

We use MSMoney - I have used Quicken in the past and I like it better, but DH likes MSMoney and I decided that it wasn't worth the argument.

I just use Excel since I already have it anyway. No need to buy something else.

I use Quicken now, just because it came with the computer. It is great in a lot of ways, but I have the Mac version and there are a lot of problems with it - particularly with budget reporting. It works great for expense tracking, forecasting, and monitoring my investments and mortgage.
I used to use Excel, and kept missing transactions and losing track of things. Quicken downloads directly from my accounts online so I don't miss anything. Plus, with Excel I had to spend hours writing formulas, etc. in order to extract any useful information from my data.
Aside from the bugs with Mac version, the only other problem I have with Quicken is that I can't make a custom report from scratch, I can only customize existing reports.

I use Excel. I have Quicken, but even after spending hours and hours working with it and entering information, I still couldn't get used to it.

I have used Quicken since its inception. I absolutely love it. It is so simple to set up and use. I track everything, and it is so nice to see my net worth grow each month!

I just pay my bills online and print out a confirmation.
I almost tried Yodlee, and Microsoft Money, but I just keep a Microsoft word document with all the credit cards due and when the 0% rate expires.

I use MSMoney and like it, but don't use all the bells and whistles. I'm a pretty plain vanilla kind of person. I also do a monthly balance sheet in my spreadsheet program, where I can enter things (like my end of the month retirement account balance) that I don't track in Money.
