You can request a lower interest rate on CCs
As a result of my scam called, I found out from my CC company that you can call and request your interest rate be lowered. She lowered my rate (not much, but every bit helps) and said that I can always call back again to try to get a better offer. We only have to one CC with a balance on it, but I thought this was share-worthy information for everyone trying to pay off CCs.
