    Cnn Money has a thing stating which "online only" banks are the best,

    Thanks for the link! I would also add ING Direct to this list. They also have very competitive rates on savings, checking, and CD accounts, and I have found them very easy to use.

    That's great info! I'm leery of online banks, because you have to give them the information for your regular bank in order to deposit/transfer money to that account. I don't like one bank knowing what my other bank is, for some reason. I like to keep them separate.

    I also use ING, the rates are a tad lower but they've been great to work with, my accounts have been there for two years now.

    As a comparison my local bank is paying .006% on savings, yes that's the correct amount of zeros! Ing pays .045% for regular savings and .05% and up on CD's. I don't use their checking because we have free checking and online billpay with our local bank that also holds our mortgage.
