Ugh! I did it again!!
Here I thought I was doing well - paying off my debts b/c they were all gone. Slowly I accumulated some debit but then it was still manageable and now BAM!!! Im $3,500 in debt to my credit card.
August has NOT been a very kind month for me.
$750 - New Glasses
$275 - Contacts
$1150 - Scheduled Truck Maintenance
$375 - New Windshield
$150 - Gas for trip (preplanned and saved for ahead of time)
$150 - Shopping (preplanned for and 1/2 saved up ahead of time)
$650 - Previous Debt which was dwindling plus monthly bills that have to go on CC.
Grand Total $3,500
Man now I just need to beat down this debt asap - can you say staying in this fall and not doing much
How does it sneak up you so fast like that?! Sheesh!

I feel your pain! I just did the same thing. I flew DS#1 home over Labor Day and then I had to have another college textbook. Well, I just kept adding to it and now I owe a little over $2700! I have a check coming for $1000 from a insurance claim that I am planning to use to bring the balance down, but there will still be a balance!! :-(

We had the same thing happen this month. I had hoped not to have to use CCs but I ended up having to.
Maybe next month will be better for all of us.

What kills me is that it just sneaks up on yas!! I actually cancelled a few mini roadtrips b/c of this - and those trips were planned a few months back. I'm going to have to go w/o unless prince charming pups up outta nowhere and offers to take me LOL A girl can dream can't she?

I am so fired up over saving for the EF, a camper, and snowballing my CC is collecting dust!
I do without rather than go back to "that place". I HATE "that place".
I am NOT going back there.....The math never lies, budget in INK!
