savings goals
Not sure if this ok to post here. Couldn't find any other place.
So, after using our savings during the first few weeks of the strike it is now time to start building the EF back up. Now that dh is getting unemployment we are actually doing pretty decent. I am sending an extra $100 to one our credit cards this month and plan on adding a bit to our savings. Last week we transferred $300 back into high-yield savings account online. I scheduled transfers of $25 a week starting this week. In addition to the $25 a week I have also budgeted another $250 to go into the account this month. So that will bring us well above $500 and I can set my next goal for $1000. I also have another $500 budgeted to be paid on credit cards - this will leave us with only 2 cards with balances. Then it is time to start putting $$ into our savings for house down payment thru ING.
October Savings Goal: $650
November: $325
