I just couldn't believe this site I picked up on another forum. I
don't know if it's the real deal or not but if 1% of the stuff is true
it's an eye opener!!

I don't believe this site is a legit tool used by payday loan people etc. But I know the stuff is true and I think the site is used to draw awareness to that.

Those people are crooks plain and simple....just like the tax refund anticipation loan.

I just wanted to add that at every stateside military base I've been to, there are always loads of those payday loan places outside the base. There are even a few I've seen that add "military" to the front of their name.

I had a boss that lived way above her means by always having a payday loan floating between checks. It's a sad cycle

I first learned about the misleading and predatory ways of these loan places by watching the DVD "Maxxed Out". It's a great DVD.

Wow..I've never heard of this before..If a few of my co-workers knew about this they would be the first in line to do it..I'm glad we don't have any of them around here..At least that I know of anyway?

I see. You know I searched the biggest town by me. Popoylation around 70K. They showed 2 $ signs. There are over 15 of those terrible places!

The sad thing is that many people are so uneducated about financial matters that they do not realize that getting payday loans are so bad. They see it as a way to keep their family afloat.

Stupidy is the great equalizer.It affects all claases, all people, all walks of life.(I can't tell you how many times I have been guilty.)Gotta get smart .

My youngest Daughter was caught in this trap. When she & her husband were divorced, he signed the house over to her. She did not understand about finances & he knew this. He just wanted out from under the mortgage. Well, long story short she had to get a new mortgage. she chose "Countrywide"...what a joke! They took her over the coals. Needless to say she lost the house & da*n near went bankrupt. She sold the house just before they were going to foreclose on her. These kind of companies should be banned from doing business!!
