This is my month!!
Ok, yesterday we sold a vehicle. We had it listed but weren't pushing to hard to sell it. Too cold..lol. Anyway the first person to come see it since listing it in October bought it. Ok, that added a good chunk to the snowball.
Then last week, I saw an ad, some one was looking for part-time/casual childcare. Well, I decided that I had the space so I'd contact her. And they came last night and emailed this morning, and the little girl will be coming.
THEN, this morning i found out that the one mom is pregnant! Love her kid, not too fond of her(high maintenance). So, this little one will end in August/September. Which is perfect, because I'm planning on downsizing big time then, to be only part-time, and he's a full time. So I don't need to do that termination! There is one more full-time but she works only 4 days in Monday-Friday, childcare week. SOOO.. I plan to talk to them, reduce their rate, and have him only 4 days a week, so that I can go to kindergarten once a week or every other week or something.
The extra child is a bonus. A short day, 8-3:30, she's a teacher 2 blocks away. So it'll be short day. And easy $400/mo + nice addition to my snowball!!!
This will accelerate things even faster. I need to redo my calculator and see where we stand, but I think despite the recent delays in things, we're back on track and perhaps be ahead of schedule!
Gotta like that!

I gotta add, that with the addition of the new child, it makes my income almost the equivalent to my dh take home..lol. Gotta like that. We'll see what tax time holds though...eeek! Might cost me a bit.

Bought my new oven 1/08 and loving it!
My recurrent nightmare is there is no such thing as PMS, and this is my real personality.

I can't wait until next week when I can add PIF to the next one!!!!
Thanks Susan, I get so motivated here, then I don't come for a few weeks and we slide. But I'm working the plan, and understand life happens and we backslide a little but we get back on track and it's all good again.
Now if I can keep dh from buying a new vehicle again to replace this one we'll be ok. BUT, if he does, we'll be selling one of the others, so it should balance out

Great job. I am waiting for my day to come.. I am down to one full time and one that I tutor. I have to learn to take full advantage of the down time, cause I am sure it will pick up. Just gotta learn to relax, been in small kid mode for years...
