Money!
Hey guys and gals...
As lots of you know, in the last three months I've been working as an unpaid intern in Texas. My internship recently ended, and I came back up to the wonderfully cold north. Now I'm living up here with my parents, working a temporary full time job until just before I go to visit my fiance in Germany.
Although my job started this past week, I won't get paid until the 28th of December. This usually isn't a big deal, except that I have absolutely no money. I have 10.81 in my bank account.
So, I've been borrowing money from the parents (instead of putting it on my credit card). So far, I only owe them $25.00, which is pretty good for a week (of course, some expenses I did unfortunately have to put on my credit card).
Anyways, the point of this posting is to share with you how excited I am!!! Yesterday, I went online to a medical testing institute in a nearby town, and found a study I can join and get paid $1600 for!
I would go stay at the facility for one week! Unfortunately, I can't sign up for it until I get some medical records faxed to them, and with the holiday, that could until later next week before I can sign up. This is a bit sad, because their studies usually fill up pretty quickly. The woman I talked to though, did say that this study is harder to fill and with the holiday, I'm hoping people don't take the time to look into the studies they have available. The study would be soooo perfect, because it's the very next week after I get done with my full time job I have now, and exactly one week before I leave on my trip!!
But there's more!!! I finally got my rear end in gear and listed textbooks and old formal dresses online, and after doing the math, I realized that if I get what I'm asking for each of the items, I could make $540!!!
I had three formals that I listed, and four college textbooks. Even if only half the items sell, or they all sell for a little less than I listed them, I could still make at least a couple hundred!!!
I just wanted to share all this with you all! Of course, in the meantime, I put out my first application to a permanent job in my career field, with four more that I will finish and send out today!
I feel like God has something big in store for me... and that getting temporary jobs until I go to Germany (I'm hoping to start a full time permanent job in my field when I get back in middle of February) is His way of setting everything out to start a job. And I'm hoping that I'll get into that medical study, cause if I do, I won't have to get a second job - I can just work any temp jobs that come up to make extra money. Which is good, cause I need a lot of time right now to work on resumes. But...I'm trying not to get my hopes up for it (too late), since it has fallen through in the past.
Cross your fingers for me!
Oh - and I've earned enough points on mypoints to redeem a $10.00 gift certificate if I want, and I've earned right around $7.00 each on both sendearnings and inboxdollars...and I've ALSO earned right around $6.00 with pinecone research! It's not a lot, but every little bit helps right?

I love your attitude!! Every little bit does count.....even if it is a penny because it all adds up in the end.

Thanks for the replies guys! And for reading my long post!

Michelle - I try to stay positive, but really that was a good day. Somedays are not so good and I mumble and complain about not having any money to do anything with and how i just want a pay check again. Lol, but I try to stay positive, and a positive attitude does definitely help.
So far..no one has bought any of my stuff, but that's probably cause everyone's busy with the holidays. After the holidays things should sell!

I resale my textbooks online at www.ecampus.com, www.textbookwheel.com, www.webuytextbooks.com, and www.Textbooks.com .
I enter in all my ISBN's from the textbooks at all the sites and sell the books to the one who offers the most for each one. I usually end up shipping one to one place and another to another place. They all give you the mailing label to print out for free shipping.~*Michelle*~
