    Default We survived!

We managed to stay afloat with minimal credit use during dh 4 weeks off due to surgery. Today his short term disability came in!! WOOHOO! So, I have an EF of $800 now, and paid down 1700 of debt. He also gets a regular pay tomorrow! So I'll have my EF funded again. Whew!

That feels good! Plus there'll be more to the snowball again. I'm thinking I Need to up my EF fund though. I'd like 2 mo of mortgage payment set aside, so I'm going to hold back $50/check until I have it where I want. We don't foresee any immediate urgency, but seeing how long things take, and our debt load, I'd feel better to have that money in the bank.

I need to play alittle catch up as we did use credit in December, but not too bad.

    We're back on track!!

two months worth of mortgage payments set aside is a really nice cushion. just good peace of mind. i should do that.
