    Default credit card interest dropped

Remember when I posted I lost my 5.99% Capital One credit card. Well I called them I told them I didn't think that the 15.99% was right.

I talked to an account specialist. She looked at the account & dropped it down to 9.99% whoo hoo, not what I wanted, but it will save me alot of money.

It's worth a try to see if you can get your's down.

    It never hurts to ask...

Last month, I had paid my bill online a day late (I thought it was due on the 13th but it was the 12th) and they jacked my interest up to 31%.... I freaked... I called and they put my interest back down to the 14% that is supposed to be at... they said the computer does it automatic.... I will be so glad when all my debt is paid off...

I also had one raised to 31% and called and got it lowered to 12.9%. Makes a HUGE difference.

I've called mine before and they only lowered my APR by about 2%. I guess I shouldn't be upset because it is a savings but sheesh. I think I'll try again this week when I pay bills.
