I'm Back
I can't believe I'm actually writing this. A year ago in Feb I basically gave up all of my frugal village time and went through a year of mindless spending. My SECOND son was diagnosed with juvenile diabetes and now that I look back on it I think I may have been depressed.
I'm finally starting to make homemade meals again, I'm actually FEELING real feelings when I look at bills and mail, I had just zoned out and been on automatic pilot for a long time.
I am giving myself the kick in the butt I need. What a waste of my husbands precious income. So......the ugly aftermath of a year of mindless spending?
A visa bill that totals.......$ 8385.12
Jeez, I can't believe I did this.
My emergency fund went from THOUSANDS to almost nothing. Cuz trips to the mall in Minot are emergencies right? What a joke.
Anyways, I'm back people.

Welcome back. Glad you got through this rough patch and are ready to start all over again. That is better than never trying again. We are all behind you and ready to help.

Hiya Sue, great to see you back! Hey we all go through ups and downs, all part of life, I zoned from 39-40 and when I "woke up" the bills were NOT a pretty site!
One day at a time, one step at a time and you'll be back in the game before you know it.
Hugs, and hope your son is doing well!

Nice to see you back. I'm sorry to hear that you went through a rough time. You're back, realizing that things need to change--that's what's important!
