Default I have had better days....

Well, today was payday and I was all excited because I had my last car payment scheduled to be payed. Nine months early!!! However, when I checked my checking account this morning, my husbands pay was $300 short and my pay was $100 short. I had to tap into my baby EF to make up the difference. So, I'm happy that I paid off my car but now I have to make up the money from my baby EF. My husband is trying to figure out why there was such a hugh difference in his pay. Tomorrow, I will investigate my $ shortage. Hopefully, they were both oversights and will be corrected on our next paychecks. If not, it will take me an extra 6 - 8 months to get out of debt. I am really depressed. I take one step forward and slide back three. Thank goodness I have all of you to vent too. I don't dare vent to my husband because he takes it personally and then gets mad. I always have to be the positive one which gets tiresom.

Thanks for letting me rant. I feel better now!!!

Mistakes happen and things get better.... and

WAY TO GO PAYING OFF MONTHS EARLY!!!

You'll be able to figure out how to go about it all and even though you may have to rob Peter to pay Paul... you don't have a car payment anymore.

Here's hoping that it was just a mistake on both counts. CONGRATS on paying off the car early Just know that this is how it goes for everyone. Once you start to behave yourself financially the world rebels against you for alittle while, trying to untrack your train.... Just stay focused and before long you'll be chuggin' along again.

I hope it was an oversight, 400 is a lot of money to just be taxes or insurance increases. But kind of odd that it happened to both of your wages. HOpe you get it figured out quickly.

Well, husbands wages weren't an oversight. He got a raise in October and we were getting an extra $500 a paycheck. Turns out though that the raise was only $200 more a paycheck. The other $300 was lack of social security being taken out because he had already reached his yearly max. So, with it being a new year the social security starts over. We will max out by October and will get the extra money then but that is a long time from now. I am reworking my budget right now and trying to decide payoff priorities. The good news is that I did pay of my car which was $400 a month so I will still have enough money coming in to cover all expenses. I just won't be able to attack the debt as vigorously as I had planned too. The first thing I have to do is get my baby EF back to $1000. Thank goodness I had it totally maxed to begin with or today could have been a disaster!!!

Thanks for all you your support!!!!
