Credit Card Rate going DOWN??

I just checked my Feb statement for one of my credit cards and the rate went down from 27.24% to 25.99%?? I know.. "don't look a gift horse in the mouth..." But I'm curious just the same.

Maybe all the rate cuts the Fed put into place are finally starting to trickle down??? Who knows for sure, all I know is that banks charge way too much interest on money you owe them and don't pay darn near enough on savings accounts and the like.

I actually noticed the same thing last month. I was really happy to see it! Although, I guess it's a sign of the economy in general not doing well, but it sure helps us out!

considering the banks are the ones that got themselves into this mess and created this whole mortgage crisis, the feds should require them to lower their loansharking CC rates since they're bailing their butts out!
Have just a little hate for the CC companies, can you tell?
