OH!! I should be able to pay off 4 or 5 debts this month!!! And Renewed motivation
I've very excited about this. We have some money coming in!!
I just got notice from the insurance company. DD4 had dental work done, under general for which I had to prepay $800. $625 for the facility and general. $175 for the dentist. Final bill was just over $2K(pedodontists have WICKED fees!!), any way, our insurance covers 100% as per their fee guide. The difference between what was billed and what the insurance covers is $50, meaning I get $750 back!!! That pays off 1 debt.
We bought a new to us van, so we're selling the other one. I'll be advertising it this week, I anticipate enough back to pay off 2 more debts. Then our tax refund will pay off 1 more!!! And possibly 1/2 of another!!!!
This will increase the snowball significantly! Reducing the amount of payments I need to make each month too.
Dh told me last night, that once our debts other than mortgage are done, he wants to plan a trip!! We're a family of 6, so it won't be a cheap undertaking, but the youngest is 4, so he's thinking 2.5 years to 3.5 years away so she'll be at an age where she'll remember. So he's thinking an all inclusive to Mexico, or possible Disney, but I think she'll be too small for most things there until she's 10. At 4.5 she's only 30lbs..lol. so she's a peanut. that I'd like to wait until she's bigger. Dh has always said he doesn't want to travel, I'd love to. OH, and we want to pay cash. So we have to save for it too.
Talk about motivation to get this DONE! Personally I'd love to go to Europe. But THAT would be pricey..lol

How exciting for you! Good job on applying it to your debt. I wish I'd find some extra money.
How much we enjoy what we have is more important than how much we have. Life is full of people who have more than they know what to do with, but cannot be content. It is the capacity to enjoy life that brings contentment.---Unknown

Sounds like y'all are on the right track and a family vacation is definitely a great motivator. Keep up the good work!
