    Default income taxes

was sure dreading this since we are newleyweds and this was our first year to have the option to file a joint return. We used turbo tax and did the taxes married filing seperate on his, then mine.......... and then jointly married filing jointly. Married filing jointly is the way to go !!!!

I am getting married later this year and I am concerned too. I have been told by many people that it is definately better to file married filing jointly. I am already setting money back to help in case we owe (we usually get a refund). Hopefully we will not owe too much (if any) and we can snowball that money towards debt.

we did it both ways.. seperate and jointly...
joint is the way to go !

we used turbo tax ( like we do every year) and plugged in the numbers in the 3 ways ( each doing a seperate return and one joint) and joint won BIG TIME by thousands !
This was our first time to file jointly too as married people.
I was sacared too and didn't know what to expect. Its much better to file jointly...
we used turbo tax... turbo tax is easy and great. Used to use HR block but 2 years in a row they messed up my taxes and the IRS sent me back money. Never that problem with turbo tax and the cost was one fifth of what HR block charged me.

Married filing jointly is generally always the best way to go if you are married. We file ours on April 15th...always have to pay in and we see no sense in giving them their money before it's due.

A CPA had done mine for years and agreed to still do it after I am married and.....agreed to not go up in price! Whoo hoo! She is great so I am sure she will try it various ways to see which is better. (which I am sure will be jointly)
