AHHHHH! Crud!

sigh...

My dh was hospitalised over the new year for 3 days.

He has wonderful insurances and on a hospital bill alone of $18,000 our part is only $1004.00

I am NOT complaining-trust me.

Then the other bills showed up as expected. No shocks there. Insurance paied them also.

I had a doctor bill of $40.70--paid
A lab bill for $157.and cents--paid

I made payments on the lab bill. They didn't like it but oh well they deposited my checks and it is paid for now.

I am making payments on the hospital bill too.

I remade my next budget(I had to go up on groceries, pet food, and gas for the car--stinks but it had to happen) and then I go out to the mailbox....

Another bill from the cardiologist for $179 pluse cents.

DANG IT!

I was ready to start paying MORE on the hospital bill but now I have another bill.

Believe me when I say I am glad insurance took it from a high $900 to under $200 but I don't want lol!

So, I redid my budget..again and life goes on.

It is not a crisis, more of a let down but I put on my big girl panties and made a plan and now all I need is

and MONEY lol.

you know my grandmother would get bills for things she never recieved. I'd look at your bills closely
to make sure this isn't the case.

I wonder about the billing of things... how come the cardilogist bill was a surprise? did he even see you husband ?

was it for a consult?

I don't like or trust any medical/ doctors or hospitals anymore... too many bad experiences of my own and also seeing people be biled for things they never got.

I know what you mean about hospital bills, we finally received a bill from the hospital for our portion of my hubby's surgery. Knew it was coming, but I sure wish they would all do their billing at the same time. I always wait until I get the statement from Medicare before I pay anything...well unless it's like the surgeon's office where we had to pay his co-pay upfront before they'd even do the surgery!

No, my dh did indeed see this this dr and he was really the only one we feel that did a true full job.

They are for the tests dh had and yes he did have them all.
