Dh just met with the tax consultant today!!! We are so behind in getting started!
We thought for sure we would owe, but GREAT NEWS we will actually get a little bit back after paying the preparation fee! I'm sooo happy!
We have a lot of write offs due to moving expenses. What I'm wondering is what is customary to pay your tax preparer? We have usually paid our regular independent guy around $200. - $250. Dh went to H&R Block and since they have to file several forms for his previous business, they are charging around $880.!!! I've never heard of anything near that. Have you?

We owe so we're getting the money together into the checking account and we'll send it out next week.
