Miss Louise, you can do it. Left button on your mouse is used for normal clicking, highlighting etc. the right click brings up menus.
Take your mouse pointer to the beginning of the link (up in the address bar, http: etc) you want to copy and hold down your left mouse button, then drag the mouse pointer to the end of the text you want to copy. This highlights it. Let go of your left mouse button. (Sometimes just clicking on it highlights it for you)
While holding your mouse pointer over some of the highlighted text, click your right mouse button and a menu will pop up. Go down to "copy" & click. You have just copied.
Now go to where you want to put your link and click once. Now click your right mouse button and a menu will pop up. go to "paste" & click. You did it!

We won't get any. Once again, we've been boned. I'm slightly "bitter" that my husband and I pay a tremendous amount in tax each year and we are not entitled to any "rebate." Yet, there are some people who have not paid ANY taxes in 2007 are entitled to the so-called "rebate." I think a much more fair approach would have been to cut back the amount people are given to free up money so that everyone could share in the pie.

Why aren't you getting one exactly? The IRS says...
\Eligibility for the stimulus payment is subject to maximum income limits. The payment, including the basic amount and the amount for qualifying children, will be reduced by 5 percent of the amount of income in excess of $75,000 for individuals and $150,000 for those with a Married Filing Jointly filing status.
Individuals who pay no tax and who have less than $3,000 of qualifying income will not be eligible for the stimulus payment.
If it is because you are making more than 150k a year, you should be considering yourself lucky. That is what...5 times I make a year and I am the breadwinner in our family. I would trade the $900 bucks I get for my stimulus rebate for that income any day. Anyone who makes that much does not need government welfare, which is exactly what this is.
Also,
To be honest, I think this is a dumb idea altogther, the stimulus payments. There are much better uses of that money, like funding public transportation and alternative energy projects.A: You won’t get a stimulus payment in 2008, if any of the following apply to you:
You don’t file a 2007 tax return.
Your net income tax liability is zero and your qualifying income is less than $3,000. To determine your qualifying income, add together your wages, net self-employment income, nontaxable combat pay, Social Security benefits, certain Railroad Retirement benefits and certain veterans’ payments.
You can be claimed as a dependent on someone else’s return (whether or not you actually are claimed as a dependent on someone else's return). For example, this would include a child or student who can be claimed on a parent’s return. [Updated 4/15/08]
You do not have a valid Social Security Number.
You are a nonresident alien.
You file Form 1040NR or Form 1040NR-EZ, Form 1040PR or Form 1040SS for 2007.

I hardly chalk my position in life up to "luck." Both my husband and I were born into poverty yet neither of our families growing up ever received one dime of government welfare. My husband and I made choices early on to pursue occupations that took years of education, training and very hard work for little initial pay to get to where we are today. We have been very wise with our hard-earned money and investments, as have many other people on this board. Luck had nothing to do with it.
With that said, I agree that the "stimulus" idea is a dumb one. But, be that as it may, it is patently unfair that the very people who pay the majority of taxes are not eligible for their fair share of a "rebate."

Sigh. People who make "good money" also have bills to pay. I don't think there should have been income limitations to the rebates (in re: to a cap) .... yes, even the Bill Gate's of the world. If it is because you are making more than 150k a year, you should be considering yourself lucky.

mikandmari...
y'all definately need to check that again....the intructions say a dependant is anyone who is 19 (it may be under 19) at the end of 2007 unless they are a student under 24 at the end of 2007...i had them printed out but can't locate it but you can go to irs.gov to check the instructions for dependants.
the only way for them not to be considered a dependant is if they have their own taxes to file, thereby not being a dependant on anyone else's taxes. my daughter is 17 (18 in July) and she qualifies as a dependant....although she did receive over $3000 in SS Survivors Benefits last year so she may not be able to be claimed as a dependant for the stimulus payment...i filed with her as a dependant but weill be amending it to her own if need be. JMO from info i have read and followed.

Personally, I'd rather they use all the money on the stimulas thing to get the gas prices lowered. This is NOT going to help out people. Yeah, it might help for a couple months, but the price of gas is still going up. And with the price of gas goes the price of groceries and everything else. It's just a very small band aid on a very huge problem.
