    Default My credit score update

One of my CC has a feature that will pull my credit score monthly. This month it went from 687 to 700. I'm hoping that next month will be even better. We are paying off CC #2 in May with the stimulus rebate and a small chunk of the Big Daddy CC.

That is a cool feature, I don't know if any of my cc's do that. Congratulations on increasing your score!

I just want to add that they're not always right, I have an account with juniper and they said mine was a 600 then went to a 590 (experian). Well, we're going to be trying to be a house so I needed all my scores, so I ordered it through true credit for $15 a month - will be canceled as sooon as we're approved for loan thru rural development. My scores were all in th 670s-680s - which is really good considering my bankrupcty was final in May of 2008. We will have all our credit cards payed off by the end of the year which should bring it up more.

Mine does that too! I have a Wamu card. My score has gone up almost 75 points since the beginning of the year when we started paying off debt big time. We have paid off about $3500 worth of debt since January. It is neat to see my score rise every month.

I've been checking my credit score every 2 weeks for the past 3 months to see if my score went up any since considering I paid off all my credit cards except for 1 card in Dec 07' and it hasn't budged? I don't understand it? Can anyone tell me when they update it? TIA..

That is great about your credit score improving!! I have a CC that has this feature also. I like the feature as I can see where my credit score is from month to month.

Brenda, I am not sure exactly when they update the scores. I hope someone is able to answer your question for you.

My credit score is updated on or about the 20th of the month. I have the WaMu card, too.

I think the score is updated monthly. Does the one card left have a high balance? Are you closing the cards as you pay them off? -- this could affect your utilization percentage.

The one and only card I have left has $2000 on it and the limit is $3000 however it's not showing any of the cards I paid off in Dec? I'm not closing any accounts as I know that will lower my score..Any info would be greatly appreciated..

My Transunion Credit Report shows the balance for my accounts. It also shows the last 48 days of payments (either ontime or late.) It also has a Pay Status which states "Paid or Paying as Agreed." My report is from 2005.

My Equifax Report also shows the balance owed on my accounts. That's also from 2005.
