Interesting site. But I can buy things cheaper in a store here and use coupons.

I.e. Velveeta Original Shells & Cheese
    Kraft Foods

    Case Price: $59.76
Every Day Price: $2.89 per unit
Sale Price: $2.49 per unit (save $0.40 per unit)
Buy the Case & Save $9.60

I can get these for $1.50 on sale ALL THE TIME around here.

Make sure you check your pricing.

I just checked the site and they had Rice a Roni for $ 2.19 a box. I bought some here last week on sale for $1. I haven't checked anything else but I would have to check it against the prices in the stores before I would buy it from them. Good concept but not such good prices I think.

Thank-you, Its_Donna for sharing this link.

I think this would really come in handy for people who live a long way from town, or can't get out to shop frequently.
You could order and have it shipped directly to your door.

Like everything else you have to compare prices, but also just rem. when comparing, to figure in your cost of time & gas as well.

But along the same lines, I always buy in cases when I find a good price.
It's just a regular occurance for me to have several cases in my buggy when I stop in at Save-a-lot or Wal-mart.
Yeah, I get strange looks, but who care.

We don't have Shoprite's here, but your right, those are some awesome prices!!
Canned tomatoes are something that I need to keep on hand, we use alot of them.

Save-a-Lot is an excellent place to buy things by the cases, because that's how they put them out.
They just stack the cases on top of one another and you can grab the whole thing.

I do this alot with canned veggies, chili, canned tomatoes, staples such as flour, sugar, etc. (although these usually come in plastic shrink wrapping), and sometimes even their cereals.
It's just so much easier and then I don't have to buy any of those items again for awhile.
I've also been known to buy a case an item and store 1/2 of it in with my stockpile storage.
I have plenty till next shopping trip AND I'm also slowly building my stockpile at the same time.

Thanks Donna! Another one I like and use is Amazon. I buy my Twinings black tea & an World Harbor Cheriyaki sauce there & don't pay shipping. They often have all kinds of deals.
