Default Best place to buy dicount mattress (new)?

Not sure what category to put this under! We are getting a 'big boy bed' for our 2.5 year old, and we have found a good captain's bed frame off of craigslist but now we need a twin mattress, no box spring needed due to frame's 'box' construction. I do NOT do used mattresses! Just wondering if anyone could rec. any good online place to purchase a regular ol' twin mattress- nothing fancy, nothing expensive. Thanks in advance!

When we bought DS's mattress for his bunk bed, we found that Big Lot's was pretty inexpensive.

However, we actually found that the hometown, locally owned mattress place had better prices than any of the commercial stores. Plus, they are more willing to give you a discount to shop there too. So, don't forget to check out the locally owned stores too!

We got our kids mattresses from Sams' Club and I believe we paid $95 each for theirs.

    Good Luck finding one!

I watched a news report on the salvation army, theirs have to be new, so even though they may not have the plastic on them still, whatever they sell has to be new!!
    Good Luck!!
