    Question Dollar Tree

I have to admit that I sometimes shy away from dollar stores of all kinds b/c of every.single.thing being sold seems to be made in China. I do however peruse them for birthday and other occaission cards. Well we got a new Dollar Tree in the town nearest us and I went into it for the first time a few days ago. Well my finds there were few but I did get a sudoku puzzle book, a word find puzzle book (to work on trips) for $1, 3 pkgs. of computer stationary (decorative and really nice with envelopes included) for $1 ea.. These were actually a good find. They also had a nice selection of books. I think I will probably stop by there about once a month or so just to see what's in but I doubt I do enough business with them to help them out too much. What's your fave thing to buy at Dollar Tree?

I don't go in often, but I've bought small vases and baskets when I have needed them.

We don't have a Dollar Tree, however we do have Dollarama. I've find a few good things there. It's a very popular store here.

Our Dollar Tree is in a plaza with our movie theater, so we often pick up candy there for much, much cheaper than we would be able to buy it at the theater.

I also buy greeting cards, stationery, wrapping paper/gift bags.

I'm going to ours this weekend to see what they have for Valentine's Day goodies.

Roasted red peppers. They are just as good as any I've bought anywhere else at 1/2 the price.

What I like about Dollarama is everything is $1. They also have a great selection of everything, IMO.

I like it as well for that reason. Some of the other dollar stores are a dollar plus and I don't like that.

I buy cards and some candies, wax paper and foil, Pam-type spray, socks, make-up, craft supplies, coloring books, gift wrap, tape, bows, those helium foil balloons, chocolate covered pretzels, foil pans for baking, deodorant, shampoo, ear phones for MP3 player, sun glasses... just about everything including 3 liters of Faygo soda.

I used to buy craft stuff there, but they have stopped carrying most of the papers, stickers, etc. that I used to buy. And they are stopping on the candles, too.

I try to stop by dollar tree every couple weeks. I get my cleaning supplies there, cards & gift wrap supplies, scrapbook stuff and little things for stocking stuffers & Easter basket stuffers.

I tend to pickup scrapbook supplies (stickers, paper, punches), tissue paper, gift wrap, hand soap, toothbrushes, bath puffs, cleaning supplies, dish cloths, slinkies (US company!), other small toys & sometimes seasonal items. One of my favorite finds were cute Halloween witches to hang on my door (fabric & straw). Boy, did I get my dollar's worth out of them! I used them for years before they started looking bad. Its probably a good thing that I only shop there once in a while!

I love Dollar Tree for Breck shampoo, the golden-color one that I used as a kid. I thought they had stopped making it until I came across it at Dollar Tree. I haven't seen it anywhere else.
