Who is addicted to the 99 Cent Only store?
I found out there was one fairly close to me and went this morning and let me tell ya, it's going to be one of my main stores from now on! I food selection was awesome and there were a lot of organic canned goods. There was also produce and gallons of whole milk for 99 cents! I don't drink whole milk, though, so I didn't buy it. I found condensed milk which has sky rocketed in price for .99 there. There were lots of choices for hba as well. I'm in love *swoon*

I don't have one of those but I love the Dollar Tree
Recipe for condensed milk:
Here’s the Recipe:
* 2 tablespoons butter
* ½ cup boiling water
* ¾ cup sugar
* 1 1/3 cups instant dry milk
Put all the ingredients in your food processor or electric blender and process on medium-low speed for two minutes. Allow the milk to cool to room temperature before using. You can store this in the refrigerator for up to one week. This recipe makes 14 ounces – a sufficient amount for any pumpkin pie recipe with maybe a little left over depending on the recipe you use.Last edited by rainbowgc; 02-21-2009 at 02:25 PM. We don't have one around here either. I do try to go when I'm in another town and they have one. I need to check the food sections more thoroughly.

Just do be careful, regardless of what you buy, that you check the label of origin on the product you buy. Other countries have much looser manufacturing regulations. That's why those products are so cheap.
I go to a Dollar Tree near my house about once a month, and I've seen sign listing a recall on various products.
Not being xenophobic at all, but I'm not brushing my teeth with toothpaste made in China, or gargling with mouthwash made in Turkey.

I buy all my cleaning supplies, kleenex, batteries, light bulbs (CFL), and odds and ends there. It is great for stocking stuffers or little gifts to add to a bigger gift. I love ours!

We have a 99p store here (England) and I'm addicted to getting named brands from there. I check prices at the supermarket online after visiting the 99p store and it nearly always works out cheaper there.

Let me tell you about the find I made yesterday for the dollar stores.
Its all about dollar store crafts. They have some awesome ideas on putting together things from the dollar store to make some really nice crafts for home decorating and all kinds of gifts.
Google: Dollar store craft ideas. Wow!
