Kitchen Aid Mixers at Ollies!!!
Wow, not something I expected to see.
My local Ollie's had a handful of refurbished Kitchen Aid mixers for $179 that's a great price. I just wouldn't know how good the reputation is on refurbished motors.
Ollie's also seemed to have the corner market on Paula Dean bake and cook ware. Tables of the stuff. It looked like they bought some overflow product... a lot of overflow. hehehe. I didn't get prices on it but wow.... if I had the need and funds (and space). I'd be re-outfitting my cupboards.

I bought my stand mixer refurbished, it carried the same one year warranty as the regular ones. I did actually break something in it though, but it was entirely my own fault. Unfortunately I didn't do it in the first year, or I could have had it fixed for free.

I've been wanting a KA mixer for about a year now, I just haven't been willing to spend the money for the one I want. Are you going to buy one Ceashels?

Have never heard of Ollies - but shall check it out when I get to the mainland. Sounds like there are a lot of great deals there!!

I just checked and the closest Ollies is in PA and 23 miles away. Sent them an email and requested a store in NJ. Sounds like a fun place to me. I got my Kitchen Aid mixer at Macy's on sale for $199.00. At the time the cheapest price I could find was $300.00, so I was a happy camper.

~Hey Liane, there's one in Egg Harbor Township now, near the Hamilton Mall, just opened last week.
I haven't been to an Ollie's but discount stores are pretty fun. Thanks for the tip about the cookware. I really need new fry pans! I'll plan to stop there when I make my run to the fabric store in that area this month.
I was very blessed to get my KitchenAid as a gift from my parents when I got married 10 years ago. I choose a special order color at the time, Empire Red. That color has become so popular that I see it in stores everywhere now!~~Constance

We have them here, but I thought they were local. They are like a big lots, except I see a lot of name brand items there. I went on Thursday evening and found Paula Dean cookware, Better Homes and Gardens cookbooks, and even Organic Food.
I bought my current Kitchen Aid Pro Series 6Qt little over a year ago. It was on sale at the kitchen Collection and refurbushed, so I only paid $299.99. Usually the Pro Series 6Qt's even refurbished are $399 to $499. I had the standard 4.5 Quart but really wanted this one. I had the 4.5 Quart for over 10 years and gave it to my Aunt when I got my new one. She still uses it all the time.
I have had no problems at all with it. I use it to mix bread dough, cake dough, cookie dough, whip egg whites, you name it and it chugs along.
FYI, there are several different sizes of both the mixing bowls and motors. All the different sizes are different prices.
