    Default Big Lots

I took my Mom to Big Lots today because I had seen some organics there.

She got 4 packages of organic coffee for $2 each--she usually pays $9 a package at the health food store.

She also got 4 huge jars of Cascadian Farms Strawberry jelly for $8

She then found 4 boxes of Organic Honey Bunches of oats for $2 each.

    2 jars organic applesauce--$2

She gave me--2 jars of jelly, 1 box of cereal, one applesause, a package of lunchbags, and 2 12 packs oF rims and lids for my canning jars.

The math never lies, budget in INK!

Amount of Free items 2012 $391.33

    Debt #2 12/31/12 CC $901.88
    Debt #3 12/31/12 $3648.83

Madness, mayhem chaos...my work here is done!

    Thumbs up Big Lots

I bought some trouser socks there (that normally sell for $2-$3 per pair) for less than $1 per pair. I also bought: Cashmere Bouquet soap for $1 for a three pack (normally that much for just one bar); some bottles of V05 shampoo and conditioner for $0.96 each (normally $1.25); some toothbrushes for $0.40 each (normally $2.50+); some toothpaste for $0.90 per box, which is normally at least twice that much; some body wash for a dollar and a half per bottle, which is usually at least thrice that much; some men's deodorant for $0.90 each (normally $2 or more); and some women's deodorant for $1.80 each, which normally sell for at least twice that much. The only not so good buy there was a pair of shoes for seven dollars that started to fall apart after a few months of use, so overall I like Big Lots.

I have been looking for bread pans forever. Found some really nice ones at Big Lots today for $4 each. They also had decorative curtain rods in black like I wanted for $6 each. I didn't have enough money to buy them, can't wait till next payday. Good thing the store is a half hour drive away or I would spend all my money there. LOL
